Matt Schmitt – CEO
Prior to founding Reflect Systems, Mr. Schmitt created and managed the Emerging Technologies group for Yahoo! Inc., where he worked with business units to develop and deploy rich media solutions to Yahoo! properties.
Mr. Schmitt managed several groups at broadcast.com, the pioneering webcasting company which had a successful IPO and was subsequently acquired by Yahoo! Inc. in 1999.
Prior to joining broadcast.com, Mr. Schmitt managed Operations and IT for Fox Sports Direct, the satellite broadcasting unit of Fox Sports, where he worked closely with all major sports leagues, direct broadcast satellite providers, and cable affiliates.
Bill Warren – President
Bill Warren is a business professional with over thirty years of leadership, business development, and executive-level experience in the solutions management, solutions delivery, services and technology sectors serving a wide variety of industries. Mr. Warren held many senior-level leadership positions at Accenture and most recently founded and leads Warren Properties, Ltd., an investment management and venture capital firm. Most notably, Mr. Warren was one of a handful of executives with Accenture instrumental in building Accenture’s outsourcing practice around the world into the multi-billion dollar organization it is today. He has been instrumental in the successful foundation and development of several media and communications, real estate development, film and theatrical script development and consumer fulfillment companies. Mr. Warren’s broad management and leadership experience and creativity are well-suited to the growing digital signage market and to Reflect Systems.
Mr. Warren serves on the Boards of several business, academic and community organizations.
Mr. Warren received his undergraduate degree in Business/Political Science from Austin College. In addition, he earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
Rick Mattock – CTO and EVP Operations
Rick Mattock, a seasoned executive with experience in all aspects of software development, product management and customer support, leads the development of new software for Reflect Systems’ ReflectView™, ReflectWeb™ and ReflectNet™ product lines, as well as oversees all areas of customer support for Reflect Systems software. Rick comes to Reflect Systems from Fuego Inc., a leader in Business Process Management (BPM) software solutions which was recently acquired by BEA Systems. At Fuego, Rick led the strategic development of Fuego’s award-winning product offering, FuegoBPM Suite; managed customer support and played a critical role in the company’s acquisition by BEA.
Prior to his time with Fuego, Rick also served as Vice President of Software Development and Media Operations at Next Generation Networks, Inc., a digital signage network company.
Rick holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Systems Analysis from St. Vincent College, and a second undergraduate degree in Art History from Penn State University. At Penn State he also earned a Masters of Management in Business Administration.
Dale Monson – Controller & VP Finance and Administration
Dale Monson is Reflect Systems’ Controller and Vice President of Finance and Administration. Prior to joining Reflect Systems in September 2002, Mr. Monson had been employed by Yahoo! since 1996; most recently, he served as the Accounting Manager for the Enterprise Solutions group. Mr. Monson was instrumental in the successful completion of Yahoo!’s acquisition of broadcast.com.
As an independent consultant, Mr. Monson has gained practical experience in early development stages of businesses that include broadcast.com, Silicon Reef, NetIdentity and Hitech Data Systems.
Mr. Monson has contributed to numerous projects including; IPO, mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, audit, S.E.C reporting, G.A.A.P compliance and corporate consolidation.
Mr. Monson holds a B.S. degree from the University of Texas, with a major in Accounting and minor in Business Information Systems.
David Kopaniky – Director of Software Development
David Kopaniky has been with Reflect Systems since early in 2002, initially tasked with development of the company’s flagship ReflectNet media encoding software as a Senior Software Engineer. As the company expanded into new markets and technologies, Mr. Kopaniky moved toward overseeing, architecting, designing, and developing Reflect Systems’ digital signage software products.
Since his promotion to Director of Software Development in 2005, David continues to determine product and solution architecture & high-level design, provides implementation guidelines and suggestions to his development teams, and still tries to find time to write some C++ code for many of Reflect Systems’ product offerings.
Prior to joining Reflect Systems, David specialized in writing C++ applications for a variety of handheld embedded platforms and servers for the mobile technologies middleware companies MobileWare and BroadBeam.
