Thursday, March 8, 2012 – 2:30pm – 3:00pm – Theater A

If you are attending DSE this year, don’t miss Reflect’s EVP of Operations and CTO, Rick Mattock, at his on-floor workshop, Oh, No!  They FINALLY Approved that Digital Signage Project!  In this workshop attendees will learn a methodical approach to designing, deploying and managing a large (company-wide) digital signage project, focusing on business requirements gathering, hardware selection and network topology. Rick will share his insights on how to build the right team, including getting the right team members from each of major groups to ensure the best result and the most buy-in; how to document the (always) moving digital signage project at a point in time so everyone understands, including documenting the business requirements and the approach to meeting them; and finally, how to select the right software, hardware (media players, displays, interactive devices, tablets, etc.), network topology, etc. to meet the project requirements.

A seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of software development, product management and customer support, Rick Mattock leads the product direction and development of Reflects’ software and hosted product lines, and oversees all areas of customer support. Prior to joining Reflect in 2006, Mattock served as vice president of product strategy at Fuego Inc., a leader in Business Process Management (BPM) software solutions.  At Fuego, Mattock led the strategic development of Fuego’s award-winning product offering, FuegoBPM Suite, managed customer support and played a critical role in the company’s acquisition by BEA Systems in 2006. Before joining Fuego, he served as vice president of software development and media operations at Next Generation Networks Inc., a digital signage network company. Mattock holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Systems Analysis from St. Vincent College, a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and a Masters of Management in Business Administration from Penn State University.
