In 2017 we introduced Reflect 360, our creative services arm, to offer the market digital strategy, interactive application creation, creative concepts, experience design, and content scheduling.
ReflectMedia also had a very successful year. Our second digital billboard on Spring Creek Parkway and Highway 121 went live in September and our list of advertisers continues to grow.
Some notable advertisers we had in 2017 include:
Take a look back at 2017 and all the events and milestones Reflect was honored to be a part of:
The new year saw a new CEO, as Reflect named Lee Summers our Chief Executive Officer. In March, an interview with Mr. Summers was featured in Crain’s Newsletters. Later in the year, Lee was also featured on Sixteen:Nine Podcasts where he talked about the challenges and opportunities of being a CMS software and services company focused on retail, when brick-and-mortar stores are under siege from online.
In February, Reflect hosted an Open House celebration with our DFW business neighbors for the opening of our new headquarters in Richardson’s Telecom Corridor. Our new office was built for success with advanced digital signage labs, extensive collaboration
spaces, and interactive demo rooms.
March was a busy month at Reflect! We were fortunate enough to see the launch of AdLogicTM and celebrate its ability to replace manual processes and improve efficiency,
flexibility, and accuracy of ad-trafficking for digital signage networks.
We traveled to Las Vegas to speak and exhibit at the Digital Signage Expo, where we announced our AdLogicTM Platform to an enthusiastic group of participants. We also proudly collaborated with PixelFlex at the GlobalShop convention.
In May, Reflect joined the DPAA (Digital Place-Based Advertising Association). DPAA is a nonprofit organization that helps businesses grow by connecting digital advertising ecosystems. They provide a literal and a digital place for advertisers to meet and share ideas and solutions. Later in the year, we participated in the Video Everywhere Summit as part of New York’s Digital Signage Week.
At the ICX Summit in June, Reflect had the opportunity to engage with customers as well as thought leaders in the industry. We also enjoyed hosting several of the conference attendees at our office where we showcased interactive and passive displays, architectural LED and projection, wayfinding applications, social feeds, mobile-to-screen interaction, virtual reality, and more.
In July, Reflect was selected as the content management and delivery partner for PatientPoint®. Through this partnership, using Reflect’s
proprietary ReflectView™and AdLogic™ technology, PatientPoint will deliver content and sponsor advertising to thousands of healthcare professionals.
In keeping our show on the road, we also attended IRDC (International Retail Design Conference) this September in New Orleans. A great city to visit, and an excellent opportunity to serve the industry as Reflect was the Innovation Sponsor of the event.
October saw falling leaves and the addition of PixelFLEX and Reflect to a project for Macys’ new Brooklyn store. The companies partnered to add digital media to the new store design.
Later this fall, we visited New York City and participated in the annual Digital Signage Week. It was five full exciting days of events for retail, employee communications, digital signage, and more.
In November, we were proud to be awarded runner-up for the North Dallas Chamber’s 2017Business of the Year. Mason Page, SVP of Strategic Business Planning, accepted the award on Reflect’s behalf.
Also this year, we earned the coveted DIGI award for Best Digital Signage in a retail store, local roll-out, for our project with Spence Diamonds in Austin, Texas.
With a busy travel itinerary, impressive awards, and new connections with promising partnerships, Reflect had another incredible year. We look forward to outdoing ourselves in 2018!
